Regroup, Refresh and Grow!
“Supporting those who unable to help themselves is the thread that empowers me on this journey.” A licensed professional mental health counselor with a master's degree in community counseling, licenses therapist Tambra Foster does not take this journey lightly. Her passion for community service started over 25 years ago when she organized a holiday giving program for children in the Montgomery County Maryland Welfare Department. That program has grown and continues today.
Prior to opening “Together We’re Mending Broken Pieces,” Tambra was a mobile crisis therapist serving counties south of Atlanta. It was in this role that she realized the need for mental health advocacy in the communities she served. Currently she serves as Community Relations and Education Coordinator, a mental health and wellness advocate working to establish and implement mental health initiatives through education and collaborative strategic planning.
